Learn moreA three-machine copper ore stacking train built around a truck unloader, crawler conveyor and radial stacker.
These three SANTO machines were configured exclusively for a customer copper ore stacking operation in Kazakhstan, replacing loader-based stockpiling with continuous conveying.
The customer runs a copper ore crushing line; crushed ore arrives by truck and must be stacked for reclaim. Previously loaders built the piles, which was slow and labour-heavy.
They wanted a continuous system that raised pile height and storage volume while cutting safety risk.
A TU1215 truck unloader receives the ore from trucks, then a TS820 crawler conveyor and a TS820R radial stacker work together for continuous stacking above 300 t/h.
The arrangement draws on the mobile truck unloader and tracked stockpiler platforms for a seamless, mobile flow.

The customer praised simple operation, a maximum stacking height over 8 m, lower labour and maintenance versus loaders, and improved safety. Larger continuous piles raised storage capacity.
Our copper ore page details similar mineral handling.
The TU1215, TS820 and TS820R combination processes more than 300 tonnes per hour of copper ore with a maximum pile height over 8 metres.
Continuous conveying raises pile height and storage, cuts labour and maintenance, and reduces the safety risks of loader stacking.
