Learn moreMobile conveying and stockpiling for raw meal additives, clinker, gypsum and fuel across cement quarries, plants and terminals.
Cement production depends on moving enormous tonnages of limestone, clay, gypsum, clinker and additives with tight chemistry control. SANTO mobile conveyors and stackers give plants flexible, low-dust handling between quarry, mill and silo.
A cement line consumes limestone and additives by the thousand-tonne and must build consistent, homogenized stockpiles to protect kiln chemistry. Clinker is hot, abrasive and dusty; gypsum and additives are fine and prone to segregation.
Space around the plant is usually congested, and any handling step that degrades or contaminates material raises fuel and quality costs. Fixed conveyors suit steady single streams but struggle with the plant's many intermittent, variable duties.
A tracked radial stacker builds layered, well-mixed raw and clinker piles, while feeder stackers draw additives and gypsum from truck or excavator and meter them onto the belt. Grasshopper conveyors link the crusher or mill outlet to remote piles.
For clinker, refractory-friendly belt covers and cooling at the load zone protect the conveyor; the mobile train reclaims and conveys to the cement mill or to bulk loadout without fixed infrastructure.
Hot clinker needs heat-resistant belt covers and a load zone that lets material cool slightly before full speed; fines demand skirt seals and belt cleaners. Belt widths of 800–1400 mm at 200–1200 t/h suit most plant duties.
Tracked mobility helps on uneven stockyard floors, while wheeled units are faster on graded pads near the mill. Specifying sealed bearings and abrasion-resistant covers extends service life in the dusty environment.
Layered radial stacking improves pile homogeneity, smoothing kiln feed and cutting fuel per tonne of clinker. Continuous conveying removes most loader traffic, reducing dust exposure and collision risk.
One flexible mobile fleet serving quarry, additive, clinker and loadout duties replaces several fixed systems, concentrating capital and maintenance and delivering payback through lower handling cost and better quality control.
Yes. Radial layered stacking builds well-mixed piles that smooth kiln feed and reduce fuel consumption per tonne of clinker.
Heat-resistant belt covers and a load zone that lets material cool before full speed protect the conveyor from thermal damage.
Yes. Sealed, scraped transfer points handle fine, segregating additives cleanly and keep them out of the surrounding environment.
Configurations from roughly 200 to 1200 t/h cover raw, clinker and additive duties across quarry, mill and loadout.
