Radial Telescopic Stockpiler

A telescoping radial conveyor that adjusts reach and height to build large, low-segregation stockpiles.

Radial Telescopic Stockpiler

Also called a mobile telescopic stacker, the radial telescopic stockpiler adds a retractable boom and automatic lifting frame to a radial conveyor. The stacking radius and height change at will, and the unit rotates about a fixed point on tires or tracks. It is one of the most cost-efficient ways to stockpile aggregates and mineral products at scale.

Key Features and Engineering Highlights

Telescopic boom

The belt conveyor extends and retracts while the boom pitches up and down, placing material precisely along the pile length.

Radial tire travel

Hydraulic motors drive the tires for stable radial rotation, widening the stacking range from a fixed turning point.

Remote-tracked chassis

An engine drives the track chassis with remote-control travel, so the machine repositions safely from a distance.

+30% pile density

Compared with a standard conveyor on the same footprint, the telescopic design yields about 30% more stockpile volume.

Wear options

Feed-boot extensions, wear liners, rock shelves and impact solutions protect the machine against abrasive loads.

Telescopic stacking in practice

The boom telescopes in and out while the lifting frame adjusts the discharge height, so material lands where intended rather than free-falling and segregating. Rotating about a fixed pivot, the unit sweeps a large circular or sector pile.

Because it plugs straight into fixed or mobile crush/screen circuits and deploys fast, the telescopic stacker shortens downtime and raises productivity on aggregate and mineral processing lines.

Models and options

Two core models — RTS1042 (1000 mm belt) and RTS1242 (1200 mm belt) — both at 42 m and 14.5 m discharge, forming 5336 m³ piles at 500 or 700 t/h. Weights are 38 t and 48 t.

Optional wear packages, feed-boot extensions and impact solutions tailor the machine to clinker, ore or rock. It also links well with a wheeled radial telescopic stacker for tire-mounted duties.

Materials and where it shines

It conveys aggregates, gravel, clinker, wood chips, coal, iron ore, copper ore, bauxite, C&D waste, mulch, fly ash, fertilizer and biomass fertilizer. The precise placement limits segregation in graded products.

Large aggregate plants and mineral processing lines gain the most, where a 30% volume uplift on the same ground is a direct yard-capacity win. For tire-mounted duties on firmer pads, the wheeled radial telescopic stacker offers a lighter alternative.

  • Aggregate and gravel plants
  • Mineral processing stockyards
  • Coal and clinker terminals
  • Biomass, mulch and fertilizer piles

Operating and selection notes

Use the telescopic motion to build layered, cone-shell piles that reduce segregation of sized aggregate. Keep the boom extended for long piles and retracted for compact, high ones.

For the largest stacks pick the 1200 mm belt at 700 t/h; the 42 m reach and 14.5 m height mean one machine replaces several fixed conveyors and the civil works they need.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much more can it stockpile?

About 30% more volume on the same footprint than a standard conveyor, thanks to the telescopic boom and adjustable height.

What are the main models?

RTS1042 and RTS1242, both 42 m long with 14.5 m discharge, forming 5336 m³ at 500 or 700 t/h.

How does it reduce segregation?

The boom extends and pitches to drop material at a controlled point instead of free-falling, building layered piles.

What materials suit it?

Aggregates, gravel, clinker, coal, iron/copper ore, bauxite, C&D waste, mulch, fly ash, fertilizer and biomass.
