Learn moreA SANTO feeder track stacker managing controlled iron ore flow and stacking in a stockyard.
An iron ore stockyard adopted a SANTO feeder track stacker to draw ore from trucks or excavators and build reclamation-ready piles at a controlled, surge-free rate.
Direct truck tipping onto the pile caused uneven surges that hampered downstream reclaim and created unsafe, unstable faces. The yard needed metered feeding.
A tracked, hopper-fed stacker could both regulate flow and reposition along the long yard.
SANTO supplied a feeder track stacker with a variable-speed belt feeder and a large hopper accepting excavator, wheel loader or grab input. The tracked chassis moves along the stockyard.
Hybrid power lets the unit run from an external source or its onboard engine, suiting yard power availability and cutting emissions when grid power is present.

At up to 1000 t/h the stacker delivers steady ore to the pile, improving reclaim consistency and reducing loader dependence across the yard.
Our iron ore and mining pages give further background.
A variable-speed belt feeder meters ore from the hopper to the stacker belt, removing the surges of direct tipping and steadying downstream reclaim.
The feeder track stacker handles up to about 1000 tonnes per hour of iron ore, adjustable to the feed machine and pile plan.
